Conkers Bad Fur Day Rare Replay Was a Great Choice

Conkers Bad Fur Day Rare Replay was an interesting choice next to the original Xbox release of Conker Live and Reloaded. Fans have debated why Bad Fur Day was the chosen game since Conkers Bad Fur Day is largely associated with Nintendo while Live and Reloaded leans towards the Xbox realm.

I think Bad Fur Day was a better choice than Live and Reloaded for a lot of reasons. It would have been cool to see online multiplayer in some way while keeping the multiplayer heist mode (my favorite). I am a huge rare fan, particularly rare in the 90s and think Bad Fur Day was just the way to go.

It's like $80+ now on N64, just annoying

I know that feeling all too well. I wanted to pick up Super Mario World 2 a while ago and it eventually cost me 50 bucks. Not that bad in the end, but still a hefty price.

Look up and see what an original sealed copy in pefrect shape costs... I recently sold mine for about $600..

Thanks, cardboard boxes!

BFD was the better choice.

But has anyone seen how good L&R looks even today? Easily the best looking game of 6th gen. Rivals a lot of early 360 games. Shame MS decided to censor it.

They censored L&R because retailers such as Walmart flat out refused to sell the game due it being a mature game featuring a family friendly looking character (similar as with BFD). Despite the fact that Microsoft prominently put a huge warning label (game not for anyone under age 17) on the cover.

It is crazy how good looking Conker is on the original Xbox. That box was massively capable.

I always wished that Microsoft would release Conker Live and Reloaded on XBLA, but this is the next best thing. Heck its a greater thing
