Guerrilla Games came to E3 sporting a New IP and a hero with which to show the gaming world at large.

They left having impressed all who saw it and left millions of gamers hungry for more information on GG's latest and hugely impressive Open World RPG.

Can't lie, this looks impressive. Hoping for a 1st quarter release. Luckily I'll have fallout4 and battlefield to hold me over.

I would recommend anyone with an interest in the technicalities of a video-game to watch NXGamer and Digital Foundry on YouTube.

Oh! NXG finally uploaded this. He was bombarded with requests after Uncharted 4 analysis.

All though they are both British I only agree on NX Gamer, as he is fair to all platforms and he rubs the geeky nerd in me. This in depth analysis puts Eurogamer to shame.

BUT I disagree with the sensationalist and anti-PlayStation Eurogamer.

Anyways...
When members of mega popular bands play together to make music we call them a "Supergroup" but I have never heard of a "Super Developer"!!!

So this is the group members:

1 Guerilla Games

2 John Gonzalez, who previously acted as lead writer for Fallout: New Vegas (2010), was hired to write the game's story.

2 Ex-Bethesda developers

4 CD Projekt RED staffers who made The Witcher 3

This looks like a mix between Uncharted, TLOU, Monster Hunter, The Witcher, and Fallout.
This is the reason why the game looks and feels so beautiful.

Horizon Zero Dawn looks a generation ahead than anything we've seen this gen so far except Uncharted 4 . over half of the million polygons just for thunderjaw modeling is absolutely insane... and this is an Open World without loading and seamless game :O !

That polycount is mighty impressive. A single Thunderjaw is about 550,000 polygons, and we saw two in the gameplay trailer at one point.

I don't know what that means but it all sounds insane. UC4 and this stand head and shoulders above the competition.

This was the best game shown at E3 for me, it looks sweet, i have never been a fan of Killzone but Guerrilla Games have done a great job with this and i we haven't really saw much.

Game looks fantastic. I hope what he said about a possible delay isn't true though.

P.S I honestly don't believe there will be a delay though. I can't wait to see the stream at Gamescom.

Even after watching the announcement trailer about 10 times, I overlooked a lot of things, like how even destroyed items can still be interacted with, and that how much space a thunderjaw can cover with a two strides.

Seriously it looked like that thing covered 60 feet in just two strides.
