Finding time for gaming can be hard, but is The Witcher 3 worth it?
Yes it is.
Definitely. One of the best games out there, right up there with Bloodborne.
People spend more time on meaningless MP games like COD, BF, Destiny etc...
There are levels and scores for that while you play with your friends. You can change your outfits, upgrade your weapons and even open loot crates after completeling certain tasks. So it is still very much like an RPG. Even if it's not an rpg and it might get redundant. The only difference is that you can play a round 10 to 15 minutes at a time. RPGs well a mission will last and keep going for hours sometimes.
It really comes down to whether it is fun to play for extended periods of time. The Witcher 3 is probably one of those games that can keep peoples interest for a long time. Does it matter if someone focuses on one game at a time? Not really. As long as you're having a blast, it doesn't matter. And that goes for any game that takes up a lot of time. It just have to keep the interest meter going.
Try final fantasy 14 then.... I've missed countless games due to this, we are talking thousands of hours I've played now without a break with other games for 6months...... I'll miss many epic games :(
it just depends if you like games that are long length wise, if you are that kind of gamer than size does matter LOL. all pun intended lol when I was younger and had a lot of time, I loved the games that were long. but now with work and family the time just isn't there. I will still play long games if those are from my favorite gaming series but I do not mess around with side quests, for me it's main story and than I am done. some of the games I have to buy gta series mgs series fallout series Witcher just cause and few others most open world games are filled with side quests which are nothing more than fetch quests and I realize this now that I don't have as much time for gaming because of other responsibilities there are gamers who only buy long games because to them the amount of hours they spend with a game equals to the worrithness of the game. I know I will be spending over 100 hours with mgs 5 and Atleast double that with fallout 4
Length doesn't matter to me as long as it's a good game. I stay away of MMOs since i have no time for them. Otherwise, suspend/resume feature is my favorite. With work, family, friends and hobby, three isn't too much time to play games for a long period of time.
People say that RPG's take up too much of our time a lot but are they really any different than other games ? FIFA COD Battlefield Destiny GTA and many many more How many hours have people put into these games ? i bet it's more than they would with an RPG.
I'm 85 hours in and that's when I decided to hang up my hat and move on to the other games in my backlog. Well, when I heard diablo 1 works on windows 10, I decided to do that all day ...
