Did SEGA even have anything notable in Q1 2015

Yi-Long1230d ago

Considering their long history of poor decisions, this isn't all that surprising tbh.

A shame. Sega has so much potential to be extremely succesful and profitable, yet they simply don't even try it seems.

who the F... has the management for developers deals in Sega??? has any relation with games ?? seeing the last Sonic and generally their preferences in developers you can easily tell that generally their managers want more to harm the company rather than help it gain profits...Sega go back to your homeland and pay the same money (or even less ) for games developed only by japanese....its a good start and you ill see immediately the difference

ZaWarudo1230d ago

Don't worry guys, this is just a minor setback. Sega will make a major comeback with a new, totally awesome console that will knock Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo out of the park!

Dark_Overlord1230d ago

If they'd just listen to what their fans want for 2 damn seconds and not throwing broken crap at us that nobody asked for repeatedly, then I can guarantee this would be totally different.

SilentNegotiator1229d ago

Why would they go through all of that trouble when they can just keep selling to the Sonic fanbase?

Baka-akaB1229d ago

Well problem is when even that isnt selling that much anymore lol

-Foxtrot1229d ago

Yet they decided to make Sonic Boom 2 while saying after how they were sorry ¬¬

KilluaX31229d ago

They said it after Sonic Boom 2 mate.

-Foxtrot1229d ago

Yeah but they still put it in development, it wasn't that long after the announcement they said it

People reacted the same way about the first one and voiced their distaste in it during reviews. Why did they think a sequel would help turn things around

KilluaX31229d ago (Edited 1229d ago )

Sonic Boom 2 has been in development probably 2+ years. They don't start the development when they announce the game, lol.

-Foxtrot1229d ago

The first one only came out in November, not much time to develop anything from there to when they announced the sequel.

It's probably in the early stages so they could cancel it if they wanted and save their money for a proper Sonic game

KilluaX31229d ago

I see you don't understand how games are developed. Sometimes the sequel is on the works before the first one is even finished.

-Foxtrot1229d ago

Yeah I do I just doubt SEGA would have a sequel to a game which was being criticized way before launch.

They could have cancelled it.

You are making out like they had both going at the same time which was doubt after SEGA hasn't done well when it comes to money.

Baka-akaB1229d ago (Edited 1229d ago )

i very much doubt it got anything to do with that .

They had this whole cross media affair and invested to much into having also a boom anime show , goodies and series of books . No way they'd leave it midway while they can hope to sucker people again into the next game .

They could actually cancel it otherwise

It's even a speciality of them , having people believe each time that each new sonic game will be good enough again .

Orbertron1229d ago

Let me try and fix this in 3 steps

Step 1) Port all of the Phantasy Star online games to the XBO and PS4,

Step 2) .........

Step 3) Profit!!

Sora_19941229d ago

Hell that and jus hd remasters of some of their old hits if they dont wanna try again lie darn at least try sega
