PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console sales are 44% higher than PS3 and Xbox 360 sales were at the same point in their lifecycle, EA CEO Peter Moore has revealed.
Console gaming is in the best shape possible and stronger than ever now, special thanks to sony and PS4 .
Thanks to all the people who have bought current gen consoles
AS soon as I bought the ps4, I was speaking too myself with my quiet voice and say "hey guy, I guarantee you that this gen will be up 44% in comparison to the previous gen! you watch, I'm not loco! you'll see guy" Haha... look who's not crazy now.
'special thanks' to all us gamers who invested our money in next gen consoles instead of going pc or God forbid mobile/tablet
I think you'll find that a lot of console owners also own mobiles/tablets, and many also own PCs.
@saveferris Me included! I meant as the primary source of gaming
PS4 is doing most of the work since its sold more than both PS3 and 360 combined at this point in their respective lifecycles. X1 is just selling on par with PS3 at this point.
Joint effort. Wii u xbox and ps
@ Zhuk I wish Wii U was selling better. If it did then 8th gen consoles as a whole could've had a better chance of performing better than 7th gen, @ Michael How is it trolling when its the truth? You can't dispute that claim, especially since it is on topic.
Wii U doesn't even deserve the 10 million it sold. its an awful console and it should be classed in the 360/PS3 gen. its not a current gen console.
The games that the wii u does have are phenomenal. but they dont have all the third party games or online interactivity that the other two have. i think its going to be a little weird with the NX is it part of the current gen? next gen? or is it breaking the cycle?
Where are those people who said console gaming is dieing? They need a hot slap each
