I thought 2014 was a really disappointing year across the board for games - Dragon Age: Origins won 'Game of the Year' awards across a lot of publications but for me didn't come close to RPG's like Skyrim, Mass Effect and The Witcher. It looks like we'll have a much better year this time around though - I can't wait to sink countless hours into Fallout 4 and the new XCOM.

Fallout 4 is going to be the ruin of many a private and professional life, I'm sure. Clocked up around 200 hours on both 3 and New Vegas, so I'm preparing to go off the grid for a while!

It's all the cool-looking indie titles that have got me most excited though. Some really interesting creations on the way, and as a non-PC gamer, great to see so many on console too.

what happened to Rime and Wild? aren't they supposed to be released in 2015?

uth111153d ago

I don't think Wild will be.

Rime: They claim it's done, so it could come, but no date has been announced.

medman1153d ago

Yeah, Wild definitely was never scheduled for 2015...they haven't mentioned any date at all for it yet. Rime is still up in the air, though it could still come this year. That's what I'm hoping for, Rime and No Man's Sky before Christmas.

For me personally I would add disgaea 5, dragon quest heroes, tales of zesteria, and star wars battlefront. ;)

Tales of Zestiria for sure! I have the CE preordered, and I don't even have a PS4 yet haha. Persona 5 as well, though I have a feeling that one may get pushed to Spring '16.

DQ Heroes for me
and Uncharted Collection

I am still on the fence about No Man's Sky. However, if they actually move forward with the VR controls for the game, I think it could make the game a stepping stone for the future of gaming.
