During the latest episode of the “Conversations with Creators,” Sony Santa Monica Creative Director Cory Barlog had a few hints to drop on what’s looming over the horizon.
Please, Polyphony Digital... SAY SOMETHING! ARE YOU ALIVE!?
lol, PD always has GT being worked on for a long time, let them. Masterpiece's take time.
"Masterpiece's take time." What about GT5 then? That took ages to make. GT7 hasn't been in the works for that long apparently compared to when GT6 last launched. I reckon it'll be the best racer though. Just my gut feeling.
@Sep- GT5 did huge numbers, one of the best GTs. GT7's engine was likely being worked on after GT5, GT6 come out sooner based on it was running on the same engine. The teams that do the engine don't always do the whole main game, so that team had a leg up on creating the engine during GT6's development. Its very likely part of that team was making GT7 during GT6's development.
I think its pretty much set in stone they are working on a PS4 Gran Turismo, information has been given about it including the hiring of a lead audio programmer that worked on the Forza series
God of War IV from Mr. Barlog, please!
Looking forward to seeing what game the immensely talented Sony Santa Monica developers have created for PS4. I'm sure it'll be insanely fun, awesome, epic, & a visual masterpiece!
Wonder when we can expect a official announcement on what they're working on, at least a teaser! Probably the upcoming Playstation Experience??
Barlog hasn't done much since Street Fighter 2...
Ummm what? You are aware he was the creative director on God of War 2 right
lol got to love the cheesy gaming humour. bubs up
Considering what God of War 3 looked like on PS4 with just a resolution, texture and FPS boost, I can't wait to see what they're capable of building exclusively for this hardware. SSM also helped Ready At Dawn with the engine for The Order, those guys are some tech wizards.
God of War IV INCOMING!!!! :D
Just tell us what it is already!
