Tru Blu Entertainment have confirmed that they'll be publishing the next title in the Rugby Challenge franchise on Xbox One and Xbox 360 later this year.
Developed by Wicked Witch Software, Rugby Challenge 3 will mark the series' debut on current-gen systems and will throw a bunch of new features into the mix. Rugby Sevens will be added, as well as a new Be A Pro mode which can be played over 13 (that's a strange limit, but there you go) seasons. Commentary from Grant Nisbett and Justin Marshall will be included, as well as French commentary from Eric Bayle and Thomas Lombard.
On top of all of that, more than 11 competitions will be available for play, including Super Rugby, and the ITM and Currie Cups. Rugby Challenge 3 will be released for Xbox One and Xbox 360 toward the end of the year and given that it'll be all but assured a digital release, it may be the first time that many fans will have had a chance to play the game, given the very limited distribution that Tru Blu's titles have historically received outside of Australia.
