I bet gta gets updated as a vr Game

Rimeskeem1152d ago

First person VR GTA..... Sounds like something the media will love /s

TheUndertaker851152d ago

The same could be said about them adding first person period

nowitzki20041152d ago

They want us to play hand holding games on VR.

Lol they blame videogames but everytime I turn on the news they all support wars.... Real life wars are way more brutal and cause way way way more deaths than GTA but hey I guess wars are ok as long as GTA didnt start them.

Imagine the mainstream media coverage though - good or bad, it would certainly create awareness and that would lead to SJW 'outrage' articles...and SALES!

Here's hoping then! :)

No Man's Sky, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Ethan Carter, Edith Finch, Ether One, Mm's Dreams, and Soma will all likely be on Morpheus VR.

I can see Quantic Dreams new ip being on Morpheus as well.

Outlast and Alien Isolation will obviously be on Morpheus.

I would imagine Flower being fabulous on Morpheus. Sony has a plethora of software to choose from as well as numerous 1st and 2nd parties developing for it. Could Sony Bend's new (rumored) 1st person Resistance game be on Morpheus?

bumnut1152d ago

I doubt PS4 could run Alien Isolation in VR. You need to lower your expectations.

IamTylerDurden11152d ago (Edited 1152d ago )

I'm sure it could run Alien isolation, perhaps the framerate won't be natively as high as Alien isolation on pc VR but the interpolation would ease that issue. Alien isolation is a cross-platform game, it isn't a grfx powerhouse on console and we've seen things like The London Heist which run optimally on Morpheus with similar visual quality. ADR1FT is extremely similar to Alien isolation in visual fidelity and it has been confirmed for Morpheus, Get Even as well. This is just the beginning.

I'm positive Morpheus will run Alien isolation without a hiccup, but it may look closer to the PS3 version than the PS4 version which is fine with me.

bumnut1152d ago (Edited 1152d ago )

Im not convinced about interpolation, I will have to see it with my own eyes to believe it works well.

At the moment Im picturing it being like motion plus on TV's which is terrible.

someOnecalled1151d ago

do you realize what website your on

Lamboomington1151d ago

You might have to lower visual fidelity , but it's very reasonable to expect Alien Isolation on Morpheus

"You Just Don’t Know it Yet".

Was about to make a snide remark about Sony's marketing strategy, anyway I hope they come out all guns blazing for once.

IamTylerDurden11152d ago (Edited 1152d ago )

Sony has multiple UK studios that are strictly for Morpheus development. One of those studios "Secret Sorcery" located in North West England is comprised of former developers of Motorstorm, WRC, Driveclub, and Wipeout so it's safe to assume they're working on an exclusive Morpheus racing game.

Could we see a VR Wipeout game from the Secret Sorcery studio? Or perhaps a full on Motorstorm on Morpheus? Motorstorm Apocalypse was quite fun in 3-D and one of the most impressively built 3-D games.

There has been speculation for some time about Gran Turismo 7 possibly being involved with Morpheus VR, hopefully it's true, but either way racing fans should be very excited about Project Morpheus.
