Bionic Commando on NES is considered by many to be one of the hardest games ever made. GRIN and Capcom's remake is challenging, but far more forgiving than the old school version. New weapons, unlimited continues and a health bar all make Bionic Commando Rearmed a bit more manageable than its predecessor. The one exception is the final level.
In the original BC, after clearing through Area 12, you faced a boss battle with The Albatross, a massive war ship. Defeat that and you had a last desperate battle to take down Master-D's chopper. This last battle against Master-D is one of the cheapest boss fights in gaming history. You're falling and have one shot to perfectly target the cockpit of the leader's chopper. Miss and you die. Fortunately, GRIN completely scrapped the original ending. In fact, BCR doesn't end after Area 12. The Albatross rises when you complete Area 12 and is built as a completely new (and incredibly challenging) level.
