Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 PS3/Xbox 360 Version Releasing a Month Later Than PS4/Xbox One

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is set to release on Xbox One and PS4 this September 29th, though we've been a little confused about the dates for the last-gen versions. However, it would seem the last-gen versions will be lagging behind a little in terms of release timing.

I don't get Activision, they got some strange business practices. They'll release the last gen version of Destiny and Call of Duty the same day as their current gen counterparts, but they'll delay THPS5 to promote the current gen versions over the last gen.

The sad thing is games are still being made for 10 year old consoles. Time to move on...

The really really sad thing is that the current Gen graphics are such a minor upgrade that people can still enjoy new games on old systems.I play PC since it was a better upgrade option for me, Xbox one and Ps4 exclusives look good but they have yet to blow last Gen out the water graphics and gameplay wise and they have been out for years now pretty freakin sad :(.

What's even more sad is that even 'current gen' Tony Hawk 5 still looks like a last-gen game, both in terms of graphics, as well as gameplay.

That's not sad that just natural. SNES, PS1, and PS2 had games released for them years after their successors hit the market. I don't see how any of this could bother you.

Game looks like a PS2 game in other words, looks like crap!

spacedelete1239d ago

looks more like a budget mobile game.

Activision is really going in on shovelware this year. they are on my shit list and will never buy any of their games again.

I don't have high hopes for this game... And that kinda hurts... THPS was one of my favorite franchises as a child... Playing it on N64 and then GameCube... Good times... Good times
