Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada was in an interview recently with Famitsu and he was asked about the awaited game that was revealed in San Diego Comic-Con 2010, Tekken X Street Fighter.
Finally, I can't wait till they release footage or some more news regarding this game. I am excited so much for its release and would be a must-buy for me and I bet any street fighter or tekken fan.
That's great. Been wondering about this game for a long time now, i thought it was cancelled, but after hearing it's still in development and the polygon models, moves and systems for it, looking forward to some gameplay footage soon!
Same here buddy can't wait for any type of solid footage for it.
As far as info goes, it WILL be Namco's take on the crossover, meaning that it will have Tekken's 3D fighting style as opposed to Street Fighter X Tekken's 2D style.
I need to see how they've transitioned the SF characters to 3D first. I'm still sceptical about how a lot of SF characters will work. Maybe it takes them that long to make the game because they have to find a way to make it work.
this is great news. im so looking forward to tekken x street fighter
everybody would love to do their own fantasy rivalries in this game and see who would win. Let's hope they announce a release date soon enough
I was kinda waiting for Ono and Harada to joke about this game with Ono-san crashed the Tekken 7 panel at SDCC. Cant wait for this game. This time I want Cole and Delsin together as special guests on PS4.
Hopefully tgs or Paris game week
This is still a thing? I thought they quietly cancelled it and decided to just release the SFXT.
I thought so too since I didn't even remember it till I wrote this but I am glad it's still alive.
They were planning on making this after or alongside SFXT, but I guess development issues popped up.
Can't hardly wait. Street fighter characters with custom non dlc outfits will be seen at last. Gateway MT6706 2008
The outfits is the last thing I'd worry about. I just wanna see if they've managed to merge both franchises successfully. Curious to see how they've handled projectile characters.
Can't wait to see how they translated SF characters and their respective movesets to Tekken.
I don't believe Harada but even if it's true that they got all that work already done, is very hard for me to get excited about something I don't know anything about. Show me some footage, gameplay mechanics or at least some screenshots and then we'll talk.
i believe this is the reason they are not showing anything. they dont want people to get excited about something that isnt coming out in a while. they are waiting for the right moment
i'm having a hard time understanding when they would release this. i know it wont be for a while because tekken 7 is in arcades and yet to release on consoles and then u got SF V and im sure capcom wouldnt like if they release at the same time so in my head im thinking Q1 2017 the earliest. the most realistic date would be maybe a year after T7 console release. just speculating
yeah not the same year as Tekken 7 thats for sure i think.
Good to hear. I thought it might of been canned.
