Ubisoft just released a brand new batch of screenshots of the upcoming chapter of the Assassin’s Creed series, Syndicate.
Looks like bullshots that's disappointing.. Is it me but this game hasn't gotten much hype?
Yeah, pretty much because it doesn't feel like an Assassin's Creed game but something else. Then again, Assassin's Creed IV, has a similar air about it too but when it released it was quite a great game.
Yeah, the fact that AC4 deviated so much from past entries is exactly what made it the best in the franchise IMO. I'm keeping an eye out for Syndicate.
Thats what has me quite excited. AC 4 was an improvement on AC 3. It went in a totally different direction to what the series is used to (which is important for an annualised series). Hopefully AC Syndicate is an improvement upon Unity. Its good that this games not getting hyped as much as Unity. Im honestly looking forward to it just because its Victorian London and that has been a fan requested setting since the original games.
I think AC has been over exposed like CoD, and on top of that, there are so many great games announced for the next 2 years, it's burying it.
i don't like the looks of two character in this game .
Not excited, i'm bored of the franchise. there's no point to it since they just threw Desmond, THE MAIN CHARACTER, away like he was nothing so they could make as many games as they wanted without the need to end the grand story. Believe it's time the franchise be replaced with a fresh ip.
I agree. Ass Creed I, II, and Brotherhood was an amazing trilogy for me last gen. But the series has now overstayed its welcome. A few weeks ago Ubisoft had an online poll about Syndicate and asked the standard questions as well as how I felt about 2 trailers they released. I railed on them pretty hard as both of them were just over the top beat-em-ups with outrageous violence... There was nothing assassin about it; no stealth just some guy getting into fisticuffs and then walking out of the room. Kind of not the reason I play the game smh.
It's an AC game, very few people are really hyped for it now. I'm not saying Syndicate can't be a great game. It might end up being a great game. Still... they need to end this franchise or completely redo it. Go back to the core and change the basic gameplay mechanics. Completely change the feel of the parkour, the assassinations etc. It's reached a point now where you can jump anywhere and everywhere, make impossible climbs, assassinate anyone from any height. All with a few button presses. Since brotherhood I felt like it started to go overboard a bit... Right now, for me, the basic parkour and assassination gameplay feels worn out. Unless I feel genuinely excited and immersed while assassinating someone or running across rooftops, I'm not interested. Those feelings started wearing off after AC 2 for me.
I have not bought a AC Game since AC2. But for some reason this game looks really interesting Just a question: How many more years before we enter the wild west era? And how soon will we start to see more and more guns come into play for AC Also how good is black flag?
I thought black flag was awesome. My second favorite behind Brotherhood. Awesome sea battles with the usual assassin gameplay in gorgeous environments. Well worth the $20.
