Pro Skater 5 will have me wasting my life away, grinding into the early hours of the morning - MMGN

MMGN writes: Activision did right by Tony Hawk (and gamers) by putting the iconic skateboarding game series on hiatus back in 2010. Two disastrous peripheral-controlled outings in RIDE and SHRED were the final nail in the coffin for a series that had lost its charm, having grinded its welcome down into irrelevance. People didn’t seem to care: EA’s SKATE series was making waves, having introduced a tough albeit rewarding analog-based control system that redefined the skateboarding game. However, it lacked the accessible, arcadey fun of the original Tony Hawk games, and so within only a matter of years, gamers were once again clamouring for a new entry.
