“As far as the Western market goes, we learned a lot from Atlus,” says Sega president and CEO Hajime Satomi.
Well you have a funny way of showing it so far . I'll wait , since the focus seems oddly to only be starting "now" , but so far we're mostly seeing the same few excellent titles like Yakuza remaining excellent ...
I'll believe it when they release phantasy star online 2 in North America.
Dear Sega, Please bring PSO2 to North America and stop being such dicks. Thank you, Yourfans
Dear Sega, Please localize your f*cking games, the whole world is not Japan or America. Thank you, Europe
This! It's sad that everytime I visit the blog I see multiple sonic references (a few points in time the whole first page was just sonic) to the point where I say why? It's like you don't do any other games. http://blogs.sega.com/ Is it just me that is fed up with this - I can't complain if the games are as good as they were in the past but since this is not the case .... meh
For what it's worth were not even getting the English games either. :(
HMM.. u wanna kickstart localization to the west?
Says that yet announced not too long ago Sonic Boom 2 ¬¬
Just release Persona 5 in Europe.
“it’s always been more of a focus on schedules, I believe that if we can’t maintain quality, it would be better to not release anything at all.” Wow, Sega may finally get it. They've had a lot of potentially great games in the last decade but almost all of them fell short on the quality bar. Sonic games, Sega Tennis, Viking, Golden Axe Beast Rider, etc. If they would've spent another 6 months on those games they may've sold millions rather than 10's and 100's of thousands.
Well Yakuza is a great start, so how about bring back some old franchises like Condemned, Panzer Dragoon, and definitely Valkyria Chronicles.
