Did you buy Inquisition on 360 or PS3? If so, you’re out of luck – Bioware has no plans to include the ageing consoles in its future DLC plans for the game.
You shouldn't have released on those consoles then. They paid you retail, just as did the PC, PS4, and Xbox One players. To deny them future content, having never disclosed such a fact, is pretty anti-consumer on their part.
you arent guaranteed future content. You payed for whatever comes in the game case. Also who the hell is playing on ps3/x360 when ps4 is really cheap compared to how much the ps3 was when it came out. Also when there is a game thats cross gen you grab the version on the newest platform.
That is such BS. If you release on multiple platforms, you are expected to support each and every version just as well as the last. If they weren't going to bring every and all future content to a certain version, that should be disclosed before giving anyone the chance to purchase it. "Also who the hell is playing on ps3/x360 when ps4 is really cheap compared to how much the ps3 was when it came out." Well, considering we're both reading this article, a fair few. Not everyone has the money/wants to upgrade just yet, and the install base for the 360/PS3 is still very, very large. "Also when there is a game thats cross gen you grab the version on the newest platform." Again, that may be true for you. Obviously isn't true for many, considering this article exists. Checking the general sales for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game is as simple as a google search and, well, they aren't as insignificant as you would like to claim. If you want to be totally fine with companies screwing over the consumer like this, then so be it. I'll just never understand why some gamers are more supportive of the questionable (at best) actions of companies, rather than other gamers.
I love DA: Inquis, I played the crap outta this game. But lets be real. The Witcher 3 crushed this game to bits.
Embarrassingly, we still haven't reviewed Witcher 3- blame a cross-country move and E3 delays for that. But we're inclined to agree ;)
