With E3 in the past, Xbox division head honcho Phil Spencer still has a rather busy schedule ahead of him. Tomorrow he’ll be at Minecon in London, and then there will be Chinajoy in Shanghai and Gamescom in Cologne.
It's going to be a busy month for Phil and the team. Looking forward to Gamescom and SCALEBOUND. :)
And Crackdown, and Quantum Break... Those three titles alone make for a good show, especially if they'll have extensive demos.
i am huge fan of the first crackdown, not the second one. alan wake had a great premise but the game itself felt too linear and repetitive but quantum break looks a lot better so far. scalebound i need to see some actual gameplay first before i can give any opinion. same with recore.
@Abiael Agreed.I'm glad those games weren't at E3.. will definitely make Gamescom a much better show now.I hope we see some Recore gameplay too. @Moldy David Jones(Creator of Crackdown 1) is in charge of Crackdown 3 and i think Quantum Break will be bigger than Aan Wake in every way (Story, Gameplay,..etc)
I'm excited to see more of Quantum Break. It's my most anticipated game on the Xbox One.
They're the 3 I'm looking forward to the most for XBO. Well Quantum Break and Scalebound. I holding out for Crackdown to see how it's grown for the better, hoping for 4player co-op open world adventure.
Most definitely looking forward to Scalebound gameplay. The way Ken Lobb talked about it made me hype. But I'll definitely need to see something
I remember that Interview. Ken seemed really impressed with the game. I hope it lives up to the hype. Cant wait to see the game.
Scalebound and more on that Recore game is what I'm most excited about, along with another Quantum Break demo and Crackdown demonstrating Cloud Compute, this Gamescom is shaping up to be quite an event for MS. I'm pretty sure Phil said this Gamescom is gonna have as much content as E3 this year, which is getting me excited, it's just like E3 all over again. GAME ON!!!
I want to see Recore.I'm really looking forward to the exploration aspect of the game. Keiji said there'll be a lot of exploration with less focus on combat. I hope we see it at Gamescom.
Eager to learn more about Recore, Scalebound, Quantum Break, Creackdown.
All 4 of those games and some gameplay for each. Also want to see more on Sea of Thieves. I wonder if they will show some more new IP's as well. I would love to see what's happening with Inside, Below and the other Indie games that they've shown in the past. I wish they would bring back MechAssault, Links and some more RPGs as well.
Cant wait to see Scalebound, crackdown Amd Quantum break. PLEASE show us recore gameplay and more info on sea of thieves.
I certainly want another look at ReCore. <3
Sam lake's voice puts me in a trance for some reason. Show us some of the real unique features of Quantum break AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CRACKDOWN BETTER BE GOOD AF WITH FULLY DESTRUCTABLE AREAS Bring on gamescom. Give us more surprisess Microsoft. Wow us. Lead a second (after E3) charge into this half of the year with big things. Hyped
I wonder what games sony is going to show for gamescon.
Sony isn't attending. They announced this months ago. http://n4g.com/news/1720783...
The Cow is trolling... also the same can be said for MS and TGS.
Gamescom is the world's largest gaming event https://en.wikipedia.org/wi...
@yarbie- lets checkout how many new games are announced in this year gamescom and compare it with new games from TGS. TGS historically always had more new game announcement than gamescom. So TGS>Gamescom.
@littlezizu TGS is great if you like Japanese games. Most gamers don't. Gamescom > TGS
Sony will be at the Paris Games Week later this year. Also they will probably have their own PSX event.
So much to look forward to. I'm really excited about Quantum Break though. But I'll be happy to see more from games they already discussed.
I am hoping ReCore will be at Gamescom. If not Gamescom, for sure TGS.
They're going to be at TGS? Last I thought, they wouldn't be there.
Your right they are not. I guess I missed this piece of news.
Keiji Inafune is hopeful to have gameplay and more details for Gamescom. It's all based on how much progress they make.
I hope they have made enough progress if the game is set to come next spring.
I'm sure it'll be there, last I heard they've been working on it for last 14 months. SO I'm sure they'll have something to show whether it be a gameplay trailer or whatever, not expecting an extended demo or anything...
MS could have smashed E3 for me, but 3 of the games I want to hear about are coming at Gamescom, oh well a better perforamcae than before. I'll be dusting off my console for Halo 5 and rise of the tomb raider soon-ish, may rent gears and rare collection first though.
E3 for me was Doom 4 and Halo 5's Warzone. Horizon looks cool enough, but I need to know more before getting excited.
Scalebound is the big one, hope it turns out great. Crackdown, just like Fable, I've pretty much dropped and don't care about but I wouldn't mind being surprised. I'm quite curious about Recore, got some good devs behind it. However a megaton would be say Lost Odyssey 2.
Lord phil is coming to Gamescom with swagger. http://i.imgur.com/sw3QYxO....
😂😂😂 I enjoyed this humor.
Lmao...and they thought e3 was the end all be all.
Scalebound and Quantum Break are the games I'm really looking at. It's Platinum, so I know I'll love Scalebound; Quantum Break I have very mild concerns for if only because I didn't like Max Payne and I was okay with Alan Wake. If anything, Remedy has been improving and Quantum Break looks great. Here's hoping.
Quantum Break, Scalebound and Re-Core definitely seem like the most interesting titles to me. Never been a big fan of Halo. Probably going to buy a Xbone in October for my birthday. I really want to play Ori too. Really dig the art style. I like stylized games and is a nice change from the hyper-realistic games we often see now. Edit: Just had a thought, would be really cool if Alan Wake got BC support. I never owned a 360 and always wanted to play the game and would be stoaked if I could finally get a chance to play it.
Ori has been my favorite game of this generation so far, you're in for a treat.
Alan Wake is one of the most voted-for games on Xbox.com's BC wishlist, so it'll probably be amongst the first wave of compatible titles... also, Remedy had an online survey that asked if a bundled AWake remaster would entice gamers to preorder Quantum Break (I assume the participants answered 'yes'), so you might want to hold-off for a bit longer.
all i need is fallout 4 and crackdown 3!!
That's because one of the games he has exclusively is Quantam break. That is in my top 3.
Sony has a better line up in games this holiday that Xbox One. To many games to list here.
I picked X1 for a reason just like I'm sure you picked ps4 for a reason. The only difference is I'm not an ignorant gamer who just goes along with others thinking they are cool but really looking like idiots. Honestly I would feel like a fool myself to constantly talk bad about Sony exclusives. This show is going to be great and if you don't see that as a gamer then go enjoy your precious ps4 games and enjoy life being nothing more than a hater.
Maybe he likes the ps4 line up more. It's all about opinions. Sounds like you are being the hater.
Lol good try. If you're agreeing with anything this clown is saying you're just as much a sensitive troll and a hater. I laugh at you Playstation only guys as well as Xbox only guys that come here only to spread hate...simply pathetic! I'm definitely more bias to X1 but I know PS4 is great as well.
Looking forward to these shows. Xbox invested 3 billion on games and you can see that there not slowing down. As long as they keep bringing the quality I am happy, I don't care about how many games they release, 1 good game cancels out 3 average ones in my book. So far they are delivering.
I'll take 1 great game over average 100 games.
Crackdown is all I need. CRACKdown!!
Halo MCC on PC would make my year
