Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition Review - Gamer Headlines

Gamer Headlines writes: "From a gameplay standpoint, Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition is really the exact same game that debuted on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2008. Add in some smoother textures and a higher frame rate to give it that “next-gen” look, alongside additional characters to play as and you get the result that is a “remastered” version of a game that’s been previously released. In the case of DMC4, it’s an odd choice for a remaster, despite the fact that it is still a great game and available at a reasonable price. Yet, I still found myself gripped to my controller, chaining Smokin’ and Atomic combos while slashing away at my enemies, and mesmerized at the ridiculous over-the-top action sequences that tie in with the game’s narrative.
