Eight games to make Nintendo a force with NX and mobile

No matter what you might have heard, Nintendo is not doomed and it is not a spent force. It is in a slump, however, having failed to build on the enormous success of the Wii with the poorly conceived and poorly named Wii U.

With the company's plans to enter the mobile games market and the announcement that it is working on a new console codenamed NX, Nintendo is approaching a new horizon. Its E3 performance in June also indicated that its focus has shifted away from the Wii U and towards what awaits.

It's like going Six Flags and only going on your favorite ride. There's a lot of diversity on Nintendo's platforms - gamers (who ignore that fact) need to look outside the Mario/Zelda/Donkey Kong box to notice that.

This journalist need to understand Nintendo isnt making big games for mobile. What you will see is Pokemon Shuffle type games.

Was Nintendo's E3 disappointing? Yes, it was. However, it is nowhere near as bad as most have made it out to be. There is more coming to Wii U than people realize, there are undoubtedly games in development that we don't know about, almost certainly some from Nintendo. Iwata said during a recent investors meeting that satisfying Wii U customers is a priority, and that they will not abandon Wii U or 3DS after the launch of the NX.
