Davis from Denkiphile: "Ever since the release of DmC, I have had a renewed love for the franchise with its focus on combos and fast paced gameplay. One might question how I lost that love to begin with considering the title’s pedigree, but let us not forget Devil May Cry 2. On top of that, Devil May Cry 4 always left a bad taste in my mouth because of its simplicity, namely Nero’s. With the announcement of Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition, I was excited to be able to play the game with beloved characters like Vergil, Lady, and Trish. However, it still is a mixed bag that leaves me feeling DmC is still the best, most recent, Devil May Cry title."
