Sure, most of the time, games give you a time within the saves menu. Batman: Arkham Knight saw that innovation and decided to outshine it.
The cool feature was Game-play. Awesome. Every game should have it./s Kidding. It was the save points.
Wait. It said over an hour ago, but it saves quite alot? I'd prefer to simply save anytime I want. That was a huge feature that Bioshock Infinite removed and it changed the flow and gameplay.
I agree, it's a wonderful addition. I've been annoyed by other games (including past Arkham games) that, upon trying to exit the game, it says, "All unsaved progress will be lost". Well, I have autosave on, you dumb game. Did you already save or what? Should I do it manually to be sure? It definitely needs to be put into more games.
It's truly unfortunate that the PC version has so many issues. I'm playing it on the PS4 and really enjoying it. I don't get to play as long as I used to and have to constantly stop playing at random and noticed & appreciate this feature.
Been playing this on ps4. Its cool feature to me it's just being Badass all around... Graphics, gameplay, fun... Come to think of it, I don't recall ever seeing it load much if anything once it's running either; another bonus. It's all there.
I agree, I noticed this too and said...wow that's actually a great feature. Too bad the port on PC massively outweighed some nice stuff like that...on PC of course.
I understand this praise, but I want to shine a light on a downside I noticed. I got the game Tuesday and sunk about 5 hours into it. When I was done playing, I hit the PS button (playing on PS4 obviously), went to rest mode, and switched over to TV. I was shocked to see intro screens when I kicked it on yesterday. Most other games start right where you left off. For example, I can be standing in the cathedral in Bloodborne, hit rest mode, and when I come back to the game a week later, I'm still right there, blood echos and dead bodies all as they were. Point is, I lost some progress in Batman figuring that it would follow that same process.
The Last of Us tells you when it last saved, might be a few others just can't think of them. I am pretty sure Uncharted does the same thing as well, which, the first came out in 07
Yes naught dog games have been doing this for years.
Eh, nothing new really. Uncharted had it. The Last of Us had it. Hardly fixes Batman's PC version either, come to think of it.
Here come the ponys with their usual "we had it first"
Here comes the butthurt who always butt... hurt
The best feature for me is that the PC version recognizes the DS4 as an actual DS4.
Doesn't GTAV have it too?
But the issue with that is there's no manual save feature, making the warning kind of pointless
