The Nintendo Problem

"Fans had been eagerly awaiting to see their favourite Nintendo characters in glorious HD for two and a half years, and the fact that there wasn't a glimpse of any of them must have felt like a slap in the face."

VgamerZ gives their opinion on Nintendo's E3 performance, their recent troubles, and the road ahead for one of gaming's oldest giants.

The story is too old to be commented.

Sorry VgamerZ, that wasn't the case. They almost have released all of their franchises now. Every character is in smash pretty much even splatoon now. I have been satified by all of the sequels so far. its the troubled ones that are coming next, starfox, metroid and even zelda... im only a fan of the 2d ones. Yet i'm finally looking forward to the next one.

If you are trying to illustrate that they don't have enough games then that is pure perception. They have plenty even with no 3rd party support. The true problem is their output of games are split between new 3ds, 3ds and the wiiu. If they do what every one thinks they are gonna do then new 3ds , wiiu, and the nx platform will all share games. In what fashion no one knows. Yet that solves alot for at least nintendo fans.

The 3rd party problem. well they don't even support PC all that well so I'm not sure how you can believe that they will even if the nx has a amd fiji in it. They simply don't want to and that is fine. they have herded all of the early adopters to the ps4 and xbox. Only the new studios will embrace such a powerful platform. Yet will people pay for a power nintendo platform? Not if you read the internet, which claims they want a $250 NINTENDO CONSOLE.

So you can't give conventional advice if you don't even understand the problem.
