Guild Wars 2 has built up a pretty loyal playerbase ever since the online rpg first launched. That same playerbase was excited when ArenaNet announced the first ever expansion, Heart of Thorns, for the game. Everything was going fine as new players began to pick up copies of the game at sale prices and veterans licked their chops at the upcoming new content. Then all hell broke loose when ArenaNet announced the Heart of Thorns price structure, all of which included the core game. Nowhere was found the ability to just buy the expansion without the core game at a cheaper price. Did Guild Wars 2 pull a fast one with Heart of Thorns?
