5pb.’s upcoming Punchline game is a PlayStation 4 and PS Vita title from Kotaro Uchikoshi, the latest issue of Famitsu reveals.

Punch Line is a visual novel adventure game in which the player takes the role of the ghost Yuuta Iridatsu, who aims to return to his body.
Is Punch Line a visual novel worth your time? Or would your attention best be focused elsewhere? Don't let all the underwear fool you, there's a story here!
PQube and developer MAGES, Inc. are excited to release the supernatural Visual-Novel-Adventure PUNCH LINE from Kotaro Uchikoshi - the writer of the Zero Escape Trilogy - for PC on Steam today.
Unless they added something over the PS4 version, I can't really recommend this game. It's short, doesn't have much added into the story and the few "game" sections that it does have are really nothing to to write home about being mostly minigames.
If it was going for something like $20 I could see some appeal. But for $50, sticking with the Anime is a far better option.
@Vits "I don't think it is bad per see. However I don't believe that the price is coherent with what it offers.
It is based on the anime of the same name, but there a lot of parts that are straight up ripped from said anime (as in they literally play the anime). And while they did add some new scenes they together don't make more than half a hour of content. Then there is the gameplay, it is a visual novel/point click type of game. Therefore other than some minigames there isn't much to it in that department either.
So if you want to experience the story. The anime is a rather better way to do it, not only it have a better pacing but you can find it for far less (either on crunchyroll or as a bluray). And if you want to play it for the gameplay, sorry but there isn't much deep to it either.
As mentioned early if it was going for something like $20 or even $25, I would see some appeal to it. But for $50 I find it very hard to recommend."
- That is a fair point I think, because that's a pretty high price in terms of what you get in return for your money...
Panties. =s=
Oh my!
I thought people didn't like Punchline. All the previews I read for it said it wasn't great.
Deadpool approved.
What is the game about?
