Given the explosive release of GTA IV, it may be hard to believe that videogames still belong to a niche market. Sure, it may be a very big and profitable niche, but in stark contrast to other mediums, videogame buyers are still almost exclusively young males, which automatically places a barrier to mainstream acceptance.
