In an interview with Dengeki, Square Enix producer Tetsuya Nomura revealed there are no Quick Time Events, or “Reaction Commands,” in Kingdom Hearts III.
That's interesting! I was expecting reaction commands to be a bit harder in this one, more precise timing. I wouldn't have expected them to take them out completely. So looking forward to this game though... It's been too long.
Reaction commands were in KH2 and KH2 only, so I don't find this surprising. KH3 seems to be leaning toward the systems in Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance.
I actually liked QTEs in KH2, but I dont mind if they exclude them.
Ooh, I like the sound of that!
VERY interesting a bit more of a challenge.
right choice mr nomura
Good. Quick time events is one of the worst things to happen to gaming.
You are so wrong lol
Great news. I bet Nomura and team had to fight real hard to do this, lol.
I personally really enjoyed the reaction commend they were really stylish and fun to do. Then again the trailer looked even more action packed and fun for KH3.
but are QTE based on "good timing"
Really can't wait for this. I've honestly lost track of how many times I've watched the E3 trailer. I really didn't think the game was going to look that good running on Unreal.
I agree, I still wish it was on Luminous, but if they are able to convey their art direction through Unreal 4, its no biggie.
My thoughts exactly.
