I really need to see more of this game.

GCO Gamer1271d ago

I think everyone at this point does.

christocolus1271d ago (Edited 1271d ago )

I was surpised to see such a game at MS's conference. Keinji Inafune said Recore has a little bit of Monster Hunter, Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Zelda ,Metroid etc Really hyped for it..

Fin_The_Human1271d ago

Amature help create Metroid prime is that good thing or a bad thing?

christocolus1271d ago

Good i guess. Metroid Prime is a pretty cool ip.

That-Guy1271d ago

What do you mean is that a good or bad thing? It's Metroid Prime.

DevilOgreFish1271d ago

The Metroid prime trilogy was insane back in the day.

Yep it's difficult to get much of an impression of any game from only a cgi trailer. All I got out of it was that it's a bit futuristic, aimed at the younger crowd, and has a robotic dog. Beyond that, it could be amazing or garbage. When a game shows only cgi, I pretty much ignore it. If a dev isn't proud enough of the game to show gameplay then there are too many questions of why to get very excited. And if it's too early in development to show any gameplay, then they probably shouldn't be marketing it yet.

We need to ignore your comment

for me ReCore is most surprise got my attention in Microsoft E3

Can't to see more of it

christocolus1271d ago

Exactly. It's quite different from other games in MS lineup. Ori was also unique and i think Scalebound's gameplay will be another big surprise at Gamescom.

fermcr1271d ago

Cuphead was pretty cool.

medman1270d ago (Edited 1270d ago )

No wonder they didn't show gameplay, they're just getting up and running, in essence. It seems an interesting concept though, I wonder when we might see it in action? I look forward to seeing where they've heading with this one.

From what I hear this game is expected to release in the Spring, so with Microsoft's killer lineup this holiday and beginning 2016 Q1 with Quantum Break and Recore, we certainly got a lot to look forward to on Xbox One, not to mention Scalebound, Gears of War 4, Crackdown and Sea of Thieves (maybe Phantom Dust and Forza Horizon 3) coming next holiday. Really pulling out all the stops as far as exclusives go...

Oh yeah I'm probably missing a ton of [email protected] Games, Cuphead (my personal favorite Indie from E3), Superhot, Below and Inside as you said... tons more I'm probably forgetting. I'm interested in seeing what Early Access games their are to come too, will definitely have to try out DayZ and Elite Dangerous. So excited, great time to be an Xbox Gamer.

christocolus1271d ago (Edited 1271d ago )

You can add Inside and Below to that list and i'm sure there will be even more titles announced.

EvilWay1271d ago

Wait.... But MS doesn't release exclusives outside of October, November or Decemember right?

Eterna1Ice1271d ago (Edited 1271d ago )

Well, those are their favorite times for releases. If nothing changes 2016 would be too filled for X1, so games' sales and staff would suffer from coming out in the same time with each other. Doesn't seem to worry Microsoft and Crystal Dynamics about ROTR coming out in the same day as Fallout 4 though.

DDOS-DelDaemonicOSes1270d ago (Edited 1270d ago )

@EvilWay, this year, Sony doesn't release any AAA exclusives the second half of the year... they'll go for AROUND_A_YEAR after Bloodborne before they release another AAA blockbuster release.

Please feel free to bring that argument up again so that I can make sure everyone knows about that in my replies.

Aaron Greenburg mentioned that Quantum Break was delayed this holiday due to over saturation... he also mentioned it was delayed until SPRING.

Sony fans claiming Ms releases only at the end of the year are really exaggerating\lying.

Obviously, this year games were targeted towards the holidays to go with their DX12 upgrades... that won't be necessary in the coming years, and I expect ReCore's spring 2016 release is proof of how well Microsoft listens to fans... plus it is always great that they make the nay sayers about their first half of the year lineup look even more DISillusioned than they already obviously are, especially as Sony has no AAA blockbuster exclusives during the second half of 2015.

lameguy1271d ago

That's actually a bit worrying to a certain extent. Assuming the game does actually release in Spring, let's say April, that would mean exactly 24months of development.

Is exactly 2 years, for a new IP, enough time to put some real meat on the bones and have a decent sized experience?

riverstars861271d ago

So what does that say about the release dates of FF VII Remake and Shenmue 3?

Sora_19941271d ago

ffvii started development in december 2014 and if you think thats coming next year...ha!

Spotie1271d ago

Why would it say anything about the release dates of those two games? Not at all seeing the relation here.

Kalebninja1271d ago

Nothing because neither of those have a planned release date. btw you're comment makes even less sense since neither are new ips.

ScorpiusX1271d ago

Love this new direction of expanding the library of games with new exclusive games . Let the in house studios and new exclusive partnership flourish .

Fin_The_Human1271d ago

I actually got a Destiny vibe from the trailer.
