I second that, MGO2 was my online game of the PS3 generation until it was stopped, show us some MGO3 TDM! and leave the rest of the single player for us to experience ourselves.

I'm going to get roasted for this but as a huge MGS fan I'm really not liking the way the series heading. The open world thing is really putting me off. I hate the fact all games think they gave to go open world these days.

I miss the feeling of progression (other than stats and equipment), epic set pieces and a strong narrative. You lose so much of that in 90% of open world games. No doubt I'll still buy it day one but while everyone raving about MGSV, I'm concerned because of the open world.

You can progress in epic set pieces with a strong narrative in an open world.

Infamous, most notably 2 and 3, Sleeping Dogs and GTA V all have these. Arkham City and Origins are also another great example.

Red Dead Redemption tops them all IMHO! :)
