On June 8, Joshua R. Stokell passed away. He was 36 years old. Josh was a member of a Dads of Destiny (DoD) clan, and following his passing his friends in the game put together this touching tribute.
What a nice gesture by his clan and the Destiny community.
May God rest his soul.
That was a very moving and beautiful tribute...especially the ending.
my condolences to his family and friends. May Joshua Rest in Peace.
That right there is what gaming is all about. Those bonds that gaming creates really are special. Rest in peace brother.
I was genuinely tingling from that video. It's amazing how people who more than likely don't even know each other take the time and effort to show there respect. Like the above comment says it shows gaming at its highest level. Respect and r.i.p joshua
Wow what a nice gesture for them to do that may he rest in peace
Extremely touching. Holding back tears. RIP man
In games like these, they should have a monumental plaque with those who have passed away to honour their love the game, maybe placed in the central hub. Mass Effect 3 did something similar in the Normandy but with the fictional characters who died.
What a great gesture. May he raid in peace.
That's one of the most awesome things I've ever seen from the gaming community. Rest easy brother, rest easy.
Rest in Peace, Guardian. May the force of light guide you.
