Contrary to Popular Belief, Nintendo didn't "Lose" E3 and Here's Why

From Cinelinx:

So. I’m guilty. I’m guilty of being one of the self-proclaimed fans of Nintendo who shamelessly complained at what seemed like the most lackluster Nintendo showing at E3 in years and after a day of pouting I’ve realized how wrong I really was.

The pc gamer one was pretry weak I agree. I'm really disappointed with AMD in particular. No HDMI 2.0 for the Fury X! RUFKM!? Went from a must buy to an absolutely won't buy.

They sure didn't win! Nintendo needs to change their stance on how they view gaming. For many who started out with Nintendo 30 years ago, they've grown up and have families of their own. In this time they've experienced different aspects of gaming and more variety in those experiences, and while there's nothing wrong with kid friendly/oriented game, there's nothing also nothing wrong with more hardcore games either! As long as things are done in moderation it can be benefitial to the console as well as retaining it's image.

You'd have to be a pretty major loser yourself to not be able to accept that Nintendo lost this E3. And they lost in the truest sense of the word, in that they have lost support of both third parties and fans alike, and ostensibly their own connection to reality.

Xbox and Sony fans are both happy with what they got at E3 this year, Nintendo fans clearly aren't... that can't be classified as anything else than a lost
