Clipping Error take a look at the new details revealed about the upcoming Destiny expansion, The Taken King. They go through what the community manager has discussed, as well as other details rising out of E3.
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
Just a glorified overpriced dlc, if this the future of this franchise then I have no interest in it. I thought Bungie leaving MS would give them more freedom, but its made them a totally different company.
The expansion video from E3 looks really cool, but $40 for an expansion? Hell no. I'll be playing MGS.
Destiny can't seriously be bothering with this - they are making it look like a new game release. They should be giving all this content for free
Looks great. Polygon has a really in depth article about how they are changing the narrative too. Which was definitely the weakest part of the game.
I can't wait to play it. Just wish we had more to do in Destiny this summer.
Are there new upgrades for old subclasses?
New content that actually feels new and not running through the same things going backwards instead of forward?
New forms of content? Space combat? More types of vehicles for use in combat? All of these with their own upgrade paths and equipment types?
Or is this just that one missing subclass with some new light levels thrown in while you fight the same things just at higher levels with slightly different hues?
