Dive behind-the-scenes with David Prien from Xbox and Mike "Strongside" Cavanaugh to find out how the Xbox One Elite Wireless Controller was made, including details on customization, swappable parts, paddles and much more.
I just can't and want put $150 down for a controller. $99 would be pushing it. The controller looks amazing though.
Its already up at Amazon and surprisingly its currently in the top 10 items (under consoles, games and accessories).. According to MS the Elite Controller will have 2 savable profiles that you can switch between instantaneously & are saved on the controller itself. also check this out. https://twitter.com/jeffrub...
@christoocolus Yea the controller is amazing. I feel I might of got one of it was cheaper. I love the swappable parts and the quality put into the controller though.
Yh loool these and scuf are out of my league :(
You could save up and get them.I wanted two of these but i think i'll get just one and wait for a price drop before getting the other..
I could but I really can't justify it but for what it's offering and the build quality I think it's a fair price for it's premium.
I've been waiting for this video
Goodness gracious that is one sexy controller. That thing looks so premium, i must have it. BTW guys, this is not a controller for everyone, they already said that, they are not trying to make this THE xbox one controller, its called elite for a reason. It has MANY features, customizable, and it has paddles that are extremely helpful for many games. Like i said this is not for everyone, and the regular X1 controller is just fine, this is an option for those same people that buy scuf controllers, or other 3rd party controllers, and imo this controller is holy crap beautiful.
My name is Tyrone everybody SHUT THE HELL UP AND TAKE MY MONEY THAT CONTROLLER IS MINE !!!!!!
Look at it as buy a new one every 6 months to a year or buy this one and be done. Heavier because it's made with metal parts instead of plastic = longer-lasting controller .
People gotta realize, this controller was built for pro gaming and competitive tournament gaming. Compared to a scout pad, this controller blows it out of the water in terms of price and technology. If I was anywhere near on the level of pro gaming then this controller is a no brainer
Hey... I mean some people justify $150 on a collectors edition of a single game because it has something they put on their shelf to collect dust. At least this $150 gives me something I can use across ALL games, which will better my experience.
Pro or not , am getting me one .
If its gonna last al least 3 ..4 years i'll get it...
It's pricey but I still want one for my pc, and if I ever buy an xb1. I use a controller for a lot of games. Problem is, there just isn't enough buttons to customize certain actions. This solves that issue. It will be great for games like Elite: Dangerous where I prefer a controller for flight, but I still need to use my key board for a few things because there just isn't enough buttons on a basic Xbox controller.
I completely agree on all your points. Those are basically the same reasons I want to get it for my PC (and probably future XB1). Plus, it just looks badass.
I want this, but 150 is a little steep. I would have shelled out 99 in a heartbeat. Oh well, maybe there will be a sale on it on Black Friday.
I'm getting it.
Wow I am gonna go broke, but i gotta have this beauty.
im 100% getting this, i cant wait to never have to use l3 and r3, my most hated buttons ever. the price is way too much but i need it in my life.
This controller and its potential is AMAZING. Caps deserved.
Yesterday i said i am not a pro gamer so it is not for me. Well... i am not a pro gamer but i am going to buy this beauty lol.
