According to Turn 10, all 450 cars are available at launch on disc.
"Forza Motorsport 6 Ditches Microtransactions According to Turn 10, all 450 cars are available at launch on disc." That's very good news. If only other developers would follow suit... A new console game is expensive (60-70€), so enough with the crap microtransactions.
Good on them :)
The thrid Forza game already for this generation. It's racing, next story.
@mikeslemonade This is the 1,000th xboxone article you've trolled on. Next story
Well done T10.
Good to know.
450 fully detailed cars with working cockpits and all built from the ground up this generation. All on disc.
450 ForzaVista cars, too..
Yes! Thats great news.
I cannot wait for this game, definitely a worthy successor to FM5 from what I have seen. Everything seems to have been the recipient of an upgrade; handling, visuals, sound and content. Definitely seems to be set to become the most complete racing simulator on X1 later this year. Given the way MS is positioning the Win10 platform I would not be surprised if FM makes an eventual transition across to the PC. Which, let's face it would be the only way of taking advantage of VR and maintaining top notch visuals for a game like this.
I see maybe Forza 5 coming to PC. Not sure about 6, at least not for a while. X1 needs exclusives to sell the hardware.
That's great to hear. Microtransactions turn me off of a game so much.
Even more excited for this game.. Day one pick up for someone who has a wheel rig
Between this, Gears Collection, Killer Instinct, and a couple other games, I am really thinking about getting a Xbone this Octocber. Don't care for Halo though.
"Nothing's locked behind DLC at this stage?" "No. No." Okay, explain the Forza Motorsport 6 Fast & Furious Car Pack only available in the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of the game. Content is in fact locked behind DLC.
I think what they mean is that MS made an announcement about tracks and number of cars and no matter what version you buy you get all that stuff. Why would you buy a $100 version of a digital game without additional content?
Free extra tracks & cars. Motor sport heaven....
Tokens comes later, like in FM5 for sure. If they do so much Editions and bonus cars and stuff..at least release it on disc (nice metal case etc). Deluxe and Ultimate Editions are only digital and I hate my connection..so these are out of the question..like always.
Not one micro transaction was used to complete F5 they were shortcuts for the lazy now the lazy have to work for it ha ha game looks fancy.
No stuffing around on this one, we can judge the game for what it is now without the politics.
