TeamXbox: Bolt Preview

In the case of the Bolt game, Disney Interactive and developer Avalanche Software (the Tak games, 25 to Life) are bringing the game out when the movie hits theaters, but they believe they're taking an approach that's less of a "you suck" risk: Instead of trying to condense the whole movie down into an interactive game, but also extend the action across a dozen or so hours of compelling gameplay, they're just sticking with the TV show's concept as the foundation of the game.

Frankly, it seems like a better marketing strategy-even if it's mainly being targeted to a preteen audience (with Disney Interactive saying that it will have "an all-ages appeal").
