Project CARS - New Rain Effects Come Close To Those Of Driveclub

I'm guessing project cars aims to be an evolutionary thing. with every update they add in something new.

In my opinion, they are still far from it, but it remains impressive nonetheless.

That can only be a good thing :)

I must say that DC has had a good impact in this way. The post launch support was fantastic, and if pCars does the same, it's epic. Imagine what we'll get if they keep improving like DC did.

Tall task for sure. I wish them the best of luck, though. I'm just excited to see how GT7 and possibly a Motorstorm(or DC2) would improve upon what is already in Drivelcub as of now. Both will makes eyes explode I'm sure.

It's a first step. I suspect they will improve it further in future updates. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually add in windshield rain drop 'physics' like DC. Right now you have those streaks of raindrops and a wiper effect that is really good, but does not seem to blend in properly.
