Was Nintendo Right To Not Preview The NX At E3 2015?

After what seemed like a lackluster E3 conference, Nintendo stayed true to its word by not talking about their new NX console. With many big name companies like Sony and Microsoft unveiling new hardware like the Elite Controller for Xbox or information on Project Morpheus, Nintendo refused to talk about their new NX console that is currently under development. With fans knowing little to nothing about the new NX that is under development, we are left puzzled and surrounded by speculation and opinion.

I didn't need to see the NX but it would have been nice for them to show off a little bit of what to expect in 2016. Great that all the previews were for games on the Wii U / 3DS that we can play before Xmas, but It wouldn't have hurt to see a little bit of what next year can bring. Are we to assume that nothing releases in 2016 before E3 next year?

I had to comfort my son because he was emotional and torn. He had seen so much awesomeness in earlier Conferences, but when his favorite came, nothing was new. Nothing made him jump. Well he did yell out when Animal Crossing game board started. Then when he realized it was not a full game, he kinda just said that could be fun.

Why is Nintendo so lost on how to show it's fans what they want to see? Still?

After the Nintendo World Championships (which should of been their E3 Presentation directly after it...I mean they were already on a big ass stage with a big ass screen...lmfao), their Digital Event was very quiet...I'll say

When Reggie mentioned NX, I was like "Oh??...ok...more please" and Super Mario Maker section was very interesting and cool. But that was overall a non "event".

NX should have a real event like Playstation 4's first event that February well before E3. It needs to be BIG, HUGE, and MIND

If they did and THEN people saw the lack of good Wii U titles along with being reminded that the new Zelda game is missing then it kind of would confirm that Nintendo knows the Wii U is pretty much dead and has given up on it

Then the short amount of Wii U sales they are getting now would also be reduced even more with it's lead up to the new console next year

But Wii U is still $299.99. If they have given up, why not price drop at least? I don't think they have given up. NX to me somehow might be life support. Why not drop the price if you already have announced NX reveal coming? Assuming NX is a NEW console that gamers will simply wait to see before buying a Wii U? What really is NX????
