SoS: The 16-bit era was the golden years for licensed games especially games with the prestigious Disney logo slapped on them. Back in the early 90s, if you picked up the video game version of your favorite Disney movie, odds were that you got your hands on a quality title. Many words have been written about how great Aladdin, The Lion King and the Mickey Mouse series of games were, which proved how fun our favorite films could be when placed in the palms of our hands. In the midst of quality titles released in the 90s, Toy Story, seems to have been forgotten. Fear not, every toy will have its day, so let’s take the time to remember what made Toy Story such an interesting and creative title.
Retronauts: "As the world quakes with anticipation for the extremely necessary Toy Story 4, now seems as good a time as ever to Re(?)Consider the 1995 classic movie tie-in Toy Story, developed by the electric wizards over at Traveller's Tales. Though multiformat, the game pushes the Mega Drive in particular (typically of Traveller's Tales' output - Puggsy, Mickey Mania, Sonic 3D etc) and really does showcase impressive graphical heft for Sega's then-aging 16-bit."
It was pretty damn advanced for it's time but when i was playing as a kid it was incredibly hard at the same time. I made it to the claw machine only once.
Toy Story: the first full-length computer-generated feature, and a revolution in animated film. In 1995 it was a landmark moment for cinema, but it also caused big waves in the videogame industry too.
if people don't wanna read/watch, KH3 beats toy story in almost every way other than IQ. for comparison toy story required at it's time 117 computers to render for 30 hours one frame of the movie at a resolution of 1532x922 while KH3 renders at 30fps (33ms render time for a frame) at a native 1080p. it's incredible how much video games achieved.
Toy Story will always look better. You can always look back at Toy Story and it still looks great. 10 years from now you will look back at KH3 and see how bad it aged. Just how it is with video games.
I Believe KH3 is using the actual models from Toy Story 3. Woody matches up perfectly.

It would only make sense by saving the developers time in having to recreate them from scratch.
While Kingdom Hearts 3 looks really impressive, I still think that Toy Story looks better based mostly on lighting and shadowing.
With Toy Story debuting in the Kingdom Hearts universe, WWG looks back at the ups and downs from Woody and Buzz's previous video game adventures.
1 and 2 on PS1 were amazing, I remember being amazed by the graphics, they really nailed the level design and scale of the toys compared to the rooms.
I remember playing Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue, when I stayed home from school because I was sick.
It's really fun, great game
It's good but I think Toy Story 2 is better. Best video adaptation in my opinion
Small toy in a big world was a nice touch for platforming. Shame most games can't improve on what they did.
