New Zelda for Wii already in development

The latest issue of Game Informer has reported that a brand new Zelda for Wii has been in development for a year and could come out sooner rather than later.

"Our sources tell us that the next instalment in this series has been deep in development for around a year. It's highly unlikely that Nintendo would release two Zelda games a year apart, but don't be surprised if this game comes up sooner than you think," reports the magazine.

The same issue also reports that the DS version of Phantom Hourglass has been delayed until October 2007, which is gutting if true.

I hope ZELDA is not delayed that far. Keeping the pressure on SONY is key for NINTENDO. If the ds gets ZELDA in march , then PSP is done, finished, and should be retired.

This is the Wii we are talking about here. It's not even up to original Xbox graphics let alone GameCube graphics for that matter. But it's FUN as hell to play I'll give it that.

I own a Wii as well as 360 but I feel the Wii-mote effect is wearing off and getting kind of old to me. They really need a killer app (minus Zelda) and I really don't see much potential for Wii games line-up. Add to the mix that Wii-online is not active and I always find myself playing Xbox LIVE 4 hours to every 1 hour of playing Wii. Simply put, I currently get more gaming satisfaction out of 360 over Wii. But nothing can compare to the gaming satisfaction I get out of the "Wii60" combination! But I truly believe the 360 is a waist of money if you don't have HDTV, 5.1 surround sound, and most importantly Xbox Live (take you computer offline and tell me how it is). If you don't have those, you will never see what 360 is all about. Sure you get satisfaction out of the Wii-mote, however, while playing in high-def with top of the line 5.1 surround coupled with innovative game design, your blood pressure starts to rise while your senses are overloaded and the body releases large amounts of serotonin as well as dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain, inducing a general sense of euphoria and ecstasy. I have it down to a science which explains general patterns of what some consider "graphic whores" or "hardware whores" when really we all get the same "high" from it so to speak. But really it's all about the game developers and they're ability to make games fun. Xlive just adds that Addiction.

Anyhow, when have a set-up with HD gaming, fiber-optic surround sound, superior online and Gears of War... You can't go wrong
