Portalarium announced today that those who attend this year’s E3 will have a chance to explore the latest features in Richard Garriott’s Shroud of the Avatar.
I played Ultima games countless of hours in the late 80s, and I'm truly intrigued to see how this turns out. Hopefully Sir Garriot didn't go for the graphics, but for the gameplay. Maybe the crazy micromanagement of the later Ultima games is gone and this one is a truly _fun_ experience. While the graphics look mediocre, I still hope this will turn out to be an RPG where you can do more things than just talk to the NPCs and do quests.
