Looking Toward E3 And Beyond

Phil Spencer: "This has been a great year for gaming at Microsoft, and it’s only going to get better in the coming weeks and months. With the greatest games lineup in Xbox history coming to Xbox One this year, and Windows 10 being the best operating system for gaming we’ve ever released, this is going to be an exceptional year for gamers. No matter where or how you play, I truly believe 2015 will be our biggest year yet."

Wait... Crackdown, Scalebound and QB will skip E3?!?

Am I reading it right?

SpaceRanger1284d ago (Edited 1284d ago )

Wow. Well I guess MS' E3 will be focused on what everyone already knows is announced. And gamescom will just be new 2016 stuff. Sounds like a solid and safe way to play it.

My guess for their E3:
- Long Halo Gameplay and Talk
- Tomb Raider Gameplay
- Gears remastered (since it leaked a while back)
- new Gears CGI trailer
- oculus (very short but present after today's announcement)
- Windows 10 talk (majority of presentation talking about what featuers will EVENTUALLY come to Xbox)
- Forza Gameplay
- maybe another CGI trailer of something unannounced.

I'd be surprised if Gears 4 shows up as well since they just bought the franchise last year and most games take 2-3 years to make if not longer.

That E3 presentation seems more like how Sonys E3 will go.

We all know MS will be "all about the games"

AngelicIceDiamond1284d ago (Edited 1284d ago )

You sure are. And that sucks bad, really BAD. At least hes straightforward and told us now instead of leaving us clueless as to why Scalebound and Crackdown weren't shown off. He said Gamesom we'll see those two titles including Quantumbreak.

This just means MS is focusing more on the unannounced stuff at E3 which is great. But I still would love to see Scalebound and Crackdown at the show.

Rimgal1284d ago

It sucks for me. Scalebound and QB were my main reason for buying a X1.

But I'm sure they know what they are doing I guess.

KionicWarlord2221284d ago

Microsoft must have some huge news to be letting Scalebound ,CrackDown an Quantam break go to Gamescom.

Gears of war will be there too thats for sure.

Only 4 days the hype is real.

christocolus1284d ago (Edited 1284d ago )

Exactly. If these games wont be at E3 then what will? MS must be planning something huge. I'm guessing there'll be new exclusives announced on Monday. This news makes me really excited for Gamescom. 4 days to E3.

You shouldn't be.

"On Monday morning, we will unveil games and experiences coming to Xbox One this holiday and beyond at our Xbox E3 Briefing"

There will be new game announcements at E3 and then a few weeks later we get to experience another awesome conference with even more game reveals to look forward to.

"Rest assured that titles like Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound will be front and center at gamescom along with new game reveals for both Xbox One and Windows 10."

gangsta_red1284d ago

Yes, excited for Gamescon but a little worried for E3.

kraenk121284d ago (Edited 1284d ago )

I'm curious if that means Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound will be on Windows 10 as well!?

christocolus1284d ago

I don't think those games will show up on PC ,but that's entirely up to MS.

Nosred1284d ago

Phil what you are preparing, not the kill anxiety and surprises.

gangsta_red1284d ago

Wow, those are three big exclusives from MS that are not showing up at E3.

MS better not fill up that time with 3rd party multiplats games, timed DLC for multiplats and Hololens talk because they will definitely loose E3 if they do.

Sora_19941284d ago

I'm convinced that's what it's going to be honestly long ass halo demo, tomb raider demo, forza demo, Gears remaster announced, cgi gears trailer(new one) Rare game announced then hololens, Windows 10 and my educated guess oculus rift too.

Immorals1284d ago

I'd have agreed with you, if it wasn't for them saying they are focusing more on 1st party.

This could be epic.
