By: Steve Finn:
Hi everyone. Steve from RedBedlam here, coming to you ‘live’ from our studio in the heart of the University of Sussex campus. I’m excited to announce that our killer new FPS, Bedlam, will be headed to PlayStation 4 this August.

Bedlam is first-person love letter to the games industry and those who survived online gaming in the ’80s and ’90s. It takes a look back upon an iconic time in gaming history and serves up tons of authentic gaming nostalgia with up-to-date visuals and features.

I am amazed with how many games are coming to PS4 and how many pc devs want to develope on PS4 rather than xbone. Even b4 PS4 was virtually doubling xbone in sales it appeared all the popular pc games were coming to PS4 and not xbone, or they were coming to PS4 with xbone as an afterthought.

PS4 obviously is the easier console to dev for this gen as opposed to last, when nobody could figure out the cell processor. It appears the dev friendly approach of Sony and the incredible developer relations of Adam Boyes and co have payed off in a big way for the PS4 with quality games coming soon like Soma, Killing Floor 2, Planetside 2, , The Forest, SNOW, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, DAY-Z ect. Even games like Blacklight, Loadout and Warframe either never came to xbone or they were absolute afterthoughts.

Imo this helps bolster an impressive catalogue and adds even more to an already loaded PS4 summer with Rapture, Tomorrow Children, Until Dawn and God of War ect. Bedlam looks fun and creative, i'm excited to play it.
