If there are indeed micro-transactions in this game, it's because of Konami.

But how sad and stupid would it be to boycott a game that Master Kojima has put so much heart into ?? Konami can add those microtransactions if they want to, but that won't prevent me from buying the game and playing it. BECAUSE KOJIMA.

or it's because of the Metal Gear Online portion? publishers would be foolish to leave it out of online shooters.. it's basically free money from those casuals (and some hardcore) that like to use microtransactions.

as long as it doesn't wildly hamper the gameplay if you don't buy them, let them at it

Best to find out what the MT's are before we make judgement. IF they're multiplayer or in game uniforms then they don't affect the overall experience. My guess is they're cosmetic mts, maybe a few custom weapons. Lets wait and see

Yea... Buying a new outfit for your online multiplayer character is going to ruin the game...

Better not buy it now

If it is only present in Metal Gear Online and only for cosmetic items then I don't see too much of an issue. I personally won't be buying the in-game stuff, as I'd rather earn it instead.

Konami is going to milk Mgs5 dry with dlc's and micro transactions.

They know that regardless of all the ill feelings gamers have towards them, we will still buy Mgs5 because its Mgs5 and kojimas last Mgs game.

You don't have to buy them, so no
