VRFOcus - Earlier in the week VRFocus reported on the news that indie developer IRIS VR was bringing its TECHNOLUST franchise to PlayStation 4 and the HTC Vive head-mounted display (HMD) in TECHNOLUST Scanlines. At the time the developer didn't have any more details to share, including if the console version would support the Project Morpheus HMD. IRIS VR has since confirmed that its upcoming spin-off will indeed support Sony Computer Entertainment's (SCE) device, and has revealed the first details about the title itself.
Recent findings in the latest PSVR2 software update, indicates that PlayStation is already starting to implement support for PC.
The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
Viveport, the VR retail platform from HTC is now giving developers 90% of their game revenue, instead of a 70/30 spilt like Steam.
It could be free and it wouldn't matter at this point. There isn't really a PCVR Market and I say that as a PCVR user. It is modders and enthusiasts with a few retail products on Steam.
Warner Bros. Discovery is closing down Adult Swim Games, delisting its published games. Thus putting Rick and Morty VR in jeopardy.
