5 Dream Nintendo Games for E3 2015

NWR:
When it comes to E3 predictions, logic is a good thing to focus on. Logically, Nintendo’s show this year should contain a few surprises. Logically, most of 2015’s lineup has already been announced. Logically, anything that’s show-stopping is a year or more out. But that doesn’t mean we can’t dream. So, I took it upon myself to come up five game ideas that I’d love to see happen, even if the chances for most of them are slim to none and slim is out in the back with a knife through his back.

3DS is a 5 years old console and we havent seen yet a metroid title on it. I hope for a 3DS Metroid announcement this year. I hope for a Metro Studios announcement to be more specific...

I don't know. Nintendo doesn't really seem to know what it wants to do with Metroid.

Plus, they've just launched a big shooting game, so they're unlikely to unveil a Prime-style game; and the WiiU has a glut of 2D platformers, so they're either much less (or much more) likely to do a traditional Metroid game.

Personally, I'd love to see Nintendo do a low-budget 2D Metroid w/ a similar art style to Guacamelee... but I don't see it happening.

You know, there's something I've been meaning to ask the people around here...

How many of you would >actually< go out and buy a new Metroid game, regardless of whether it was in classic or Prime style, let alone go out of your way to convince others to purchase it?

I mean, I love Metroid of both varieties, and I'm sure that plenty of others here do, too, but sales of the series in the recent past haven't exactly been block-buster successes, even if they have not been flops, either.
Which might explain why we still haven't had one for Wii U.

So, it just leaves me curious; how many of you out there will actually make some rounds to spread the game into more hands, if we hear about a new Metroid during this E3?

I would actually buy a Wii U without hesitation if they were to make a new Metroid game. Hell, even remastered. I'm actually really pissed at Nintendo to have released Metroid Fusion on 3DS exclusively to ambassadors...

I would buy it. I like the franchise be it Super, Prime, Fusion or Other M. Unfortunatly Metroid is a lot like the F-Zero series. People clamor for it but don't buy it for what ever reason when the game releases. Hence why we don't see either one very often anymore other than cameos in other games or VC releases.

I think the reason it hasn't come out yet is that it has performed quite poorly in Japan for years. It is the type of title, however, that can get people to purchase the WiiU who aren't huge fans of Nintendo's cartoony style. Nintendo just needs to find a new direction to take it in.

Well since Starfox is getting a Wii-U game, i'd love to see Nintendo bring the Mother series out of retirement and make a new 3D game for the franchise. Or see about acquiring the services of the group of Yooka-Laylee and bring it to Nintendo to make up for the loss of the beloved Banjo-Kazooie franchise.

3D Star Collecting Mario Game, Nintendo is gonna show it and everyone in their homes are gonna scream. I can feel it in my balls...

I've been dying for new Metroid for a long time. Would love any kind of release on the 3DS as well.

Also, very much want that mock up Metroid 3DS.
