I hope there is somewhat another price cut, and they sure use this word a lot "penetration".
''How important do you think the platform holders’ online strategies are? I’m keeping a watchful eye on the network strategies of the three platform holders. Nintendo’s network strategy is very interesting. I’m impressed with their activities based on their good understanding of users’ needs, like Virtual Console and WiiWare. As for Sony, I’m keen to find out how high the quality of PlayStation Home will be able to reach by its launch. With Microsoft and Nintendo already starting to gain a foothold in this field, I would kind of like to see the latest comer, Sony, exceed its competitors. What will be the outcome? I’m just curious.'' did he just put nintendo's online service above psn and on par with xbox live?
but its selling to well right now to justify a price cut. but if things slow down im sure they will bring another price cut
The PS3 is winning the war with our good friends at Nintendo. However, the 360 is burning down peoples homes and wasting everybodys time.PS3 sales are up while the 3FIXME is still on life support in the land of the rising sun.Muahahahahahaha!
I am waiting for a price cut to buy
Are all the xBot Lemmings dead then??? ;-D +Micro$oft going to stick to making more cr*p versions of 'Windows'??? And have left the Console business they can NEVER win??? ;-D HAPPY DAYS!!!;)
It's Subzero from The Running Man AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
What problems? I have been told by the users of this site that it doesn't have problems. Only those weirdo Xbox360 fans making it all up.
the only problem it has is the price
I know a penetration where it makes quite hard: Europe. 399€ for a 40GB in Europe, meaning 635$ in USA, also meaning 67,500 yens in Japan. The difference: Europe pays 237$ more than USA, and 30,000 yens more than in Japan. Europe pays almost 150% the price of USA or Japan. So if there is a continent where there is a real need of a price cut, it's in Europe.
The PS2 is still ~125€ (200$) in Europe.
Everything is more expensive over here. We pay $100 for a game. It's just the way it is.
@Opiumunkey: you really shouldn't be paying $100 for a standard game...but I get your point...
Only mirosuck company have alot of problem need to resolve............
The ps3 is a much better console to own now.
If the PS3 reduce it's price to $349, it would put some serious presure on the other consoles. They sould do that before the holiday season, maybe the week of Black Friday with Little Big Planet bundle inside. That would please the hardcore and the casual. The PS3's would sell like hotcakes.
um... ya think?
To gain dominance in Japan they need to get rid of the Wii, end of story.
yeah sure. we usually hear this one once a month. And I have the cure for cancer.Lol
