The music-sim has been one of the great success stories of this generation to date. In just a few years a handful of franchises have practically created and monopolized the genre to the tune of huge financial success.
Enter Wii Music, Nintendo's latest experiment to test the extent of its casual gaming license. While Rockband and Guitar Hero have made the jump onto the Wii, their presence is hardly in line with the rest of Nintendo's first party strategy. What Wii Music represents is a first attempt at a music-sim in line with the values and qualities of the Wii brand.
