Sony made tickets available for the PlayStation E3 experience 2015 on May 27th, just four days ago, and now only 15 theaters have any left in the US, while Canada is fully sold out. List included.
Cool. I cant wait to see what they are cooking up for us at E3 this year. Dont we all!
Only about 2 weeks of agony left. I'm ready to see what naughty dog has cooked up for uncharted 4s big set piece they'll probably show
I'm a bit shocked they are selling out as fast as they are. The PlayStation brand name must really be growing in strength.
I'm actually pretty confident that it will. But again, so I was last year... and at Gamescom... and at TGS...
I have a good feeling it will be at E3 this year with a 2016 release window.
I cant believe i check this site everyday and there wasnt one top article about this. Is this a yearly thing now didnt they do this last year as well
@trenso1 It seams that it will be a yearly thing from now on, maybe we'll also seeSony doing this for the Playstation Experience
I find that cat thing sexy. ;) @Ocelot Actually I'm hoping for the kid to die. That cat thing is too darn cute.
I hope he doesn't die at the end. I am pretty sure we will end up in tears when the ending credits roll.
Yes! Also I do really hope they announce the Uncharted Trilogy remastered (don't have s PS3 anymore) and give some solid release dates on Tomorrow Childeren, No Mans Sky, Wild, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, and Rime just to name a few. Really wish I could go to this. Sony is going to have a fantastic E3.
oh...how much I want to see another UNCHARTED 4 gameplay..!!!
Dark Ocelet what u wanna see at E3 this year
Dark Cloud 3/Ni No Kuni 2, any of those two games would make me flip out. The Last Guardian Kingdom Hearts 3 Star Ocean 5 Naughty Dog's second IP (Jak 4/Savage Starlight/Crash 4!) Quantic dreams next game Horizon Sony's Bend Open world Horror game Media Molecule next game Tales Of Vesperia 2 for PS4 or any tales series would be welcomed. FFXII HD remaster would make me extremely happy. God Of War IV teaser Vampyr (RPG game from Dontnod) Persona V gameplay/release date And offcourse tons of JRPG games! Resident Evil 7 or Dragon's Dogma 2 from Capcom And finally a surprise from Square Enix (Rebooting either Parasite Eve or Vagrant Story would be incredible!) That was a long list lol.
Enjoy it guys, not sure I would get away with this with the wife without some serious bribing, and the lil guy blackmailing me.... Let us all know what is in those goodie bags.... Gotta be something good for the mancave.....
I did do some bribing for my wife to be down with me being gone for a few hours.... "Hey hon, I'd like to go to this " movie " with the guys on the 15th... How about I take the kids out for the morning and early afternoon while you and a couple friends go do something?" Win-win ;)
I hope we get something really nice this year. The two theaters in NYC were sold out in the first our but I got my ticket! I'm excited about this! lol
That's an awesome list you have, lol, would be the best conference ever.
I'm a bit shocked they are selling out as fast as they are. The PlayStation brand name must really be growing in strength
The last guardian confirmed?
Everything starts with an e(3)
The Uncharted 4 gameplay will steal the show just like Uncharted 2 did 6 years ago.
Oh, I think Quantic Dreams new game will steal the show. The graphics will set a new bar which will likely not be passed by anyone else this gen... If they go Morpheus minds will be blown.
You mean like The Last of Us did 4 years ago? https://www.youtube.com/wat... The ending of that demo had people floored, and it was one of the greatest moments of gameplay demonstration in E3 history. But yes, I do agree that Uncharted 2 stole the show that year too.
Can't wait. Watching E3 in theaters last year was cool.
I got tickets :)
Same here! Got one for myself, and two for my buddies. We're all going together just like their last event. Should be a lot of fun!
So, they sold out 53 out of 68 across all of Canada and the United States. Is that impressive?
Canada completely sold out. 53 out of 68 in U.S.
It's 53 more than the competition. Pretty impressive and awesome for PS fans if you ask me.
There is no competition. Only sony does this.
@Lev1903: Is that Sony's fault that no other Publisher is doing this? No.
Does news have to be impressive?
got my tickets for the ny, broadway regal theater and if anyone knows anything about nyc you know they were hella hard to get. the tickets were sold out just about immediately, only reason I was able to get em was because of my good internet amidst all that traffic, had 4 windows open too.
My venue is sold out. Don't know how fast it was. I just happen to log onto N4G 4 minutes after the story was up on the site. I know last year most venues sold out in less than an hour.
Tickets for all theaters near me were sold out in 10 minutes.
Eh, I'd rather watch it in the comfort of my living room, personally.
I'd rather go and watch it on a bigger screen with fanatics while receiving free items.
yup same her, provably order up a Pizza and kick back.
It's actually pretty cool to watch it on the big screen. There's also a lot of excitement because everyone there are PS fans, so they all get excited for the big announcements, and you get to hear the satisfaction in some people when they do something to troll MS. It's a different experience than doing that by yourself at home.:) Otherwise, last year the theater operators kind of botched the first ten minutes of the conference by not having the streaming window full screen, and the sound was so quiet you couldn't hear anything. Hopefully the theater I go to this year don't half ass it, and hopefully they have a more reliable internet connection.
Me and a friend is going to watch it in my private small cinema, with popcorn and lots of beers.. the problem is that he is a XB fan so i am forced to sit 1h30m watching the XB conference xP.. When i can just see the games on youtube later -_-
Funny how much different the console war is when it's between friends.:) Don't worry though, MS will show plenty of multi-plat titles so it should be somewhat bearable for at least part of the conference.:)
I'll stream it from the comfort of my home
I went in Buffalo last year and i loved it worth every penny...but then again it was free. I think it's great fan service and i can't imagine the freebies they'll give this year. Problem is they sell out so quickly. Can't wait for e3 and news on GG's Horizon, Quantic Dream 's new game, Sony Bend, Media Molecule, Uncharted, Hellblade ect. My most anticipated for 2015's e3 is Project Morpheus and the announcement of confirmed Morpheus titles.
I wouldn't expect too much from the freebies. Last year was rather unimpressive. If i had gone expecting something substantial, I would have been disappointed. I actually expected more, but since I didn't set any actual criteria it didn't bother me.
I feel awful for the people that bought tickets last year lol and this year will be worst. They 100% have nothing coming this fall. Anything they show will be 2015 and beyond other than tearaway and no man sky. Can someone record the crowd reactions to the announcements? Sitting through indies and project Morpheus gimmick demos. Sony has no pressure to impress and its going to back fire big time
Last years show wasn't super great, yet people in the theater still had fun. LBP3 was announced, and that got a positive response. The batman game play reveal was awesome on the big screen when he came flying down into the batmobile. It was like watching a movie, and it had a much more impressive effect than watching it at home. The Order game play was well received, but there were groans due to the theater not having the sound turned up(it was the first thing of the show as I recall). UC4 and bloodborne got lots of applause. Infamous and R&C well received. I can't remember what else they announced/showed, but the games themselves usually got positive reception. What's funny is that last year, many of the same arguments were made that Sony didn't have any games, or anything to announce at E3. The only thing people knew about were The Order, UC4, and the speculation of some of the 3rd party games they'd show. Yet they announced several new games, one which came out for the holiday that year. But yeah, you're probably right, I'm sure Sony has absolutely nothing to show this year. The only thing that got groans last year that I recall were the powers and TV announcements and the new president who was rather boring. Everything else was fine. Anyhow, I appreciate your sympathy. But it's unnecessary. I will go, and I will have fun. Show could suck, but I get to hang out with a bunch of people with a common interest. I know it's a foreign concept to hang out with people without a chat app on and headset attached to your ear, but some of us actually do like real social interaction.
Your opinion is meaningless and irrelevant.
The 'I feel awful...lol' thing doesn't sound like trolling. At all /i
I can watch all the conferences for free at home. I would rather save that money for some of the games we will hopefully c at E3
How much money do you think you will save not getting one of the free tickets .......... I wonder how many games $0 gets you now days without pirating.
I got a $5 certificate for PSN last year. I brought FFIX for PS1 with it when it was on sale. Ticket didn't cost anything. Theater was a ways from my house though, so gas cost me a bit. This year it'll be negligible. If MS were offering a conference I'd go to it too, because t's just fun to hang out with a bunch of excited gamers eagerly anticipating game announcements.
To the troll who thinks the tickets cost $, they are free for every theature i went with my fiance & brother last yr in Buffalo & it was an amazing experience. When the gameplay clip of the dude turning into a lycan came up me & my brother freaked it felt like we were little kids again. When LBP 3 dropped out of the blue & announced a fall release ppl went crazy, ppl also went wild when Bloodborne revealed. When Uncharted 4 closed the show it got the loudest response, but i think ppl were expecting gameplay. In Buffalo the sound was cranked up and the crowd was so positive & friendly, it was a great experience cheering along with hundreds of like minded ppl in a big theature. Batman & Destiny had huge responses as well, even Broforce was well received. Can't wait to see all the 2015 games like SOMA (september), Until Dawn (aug), No Man's Sky (fall), Tomorrow Children (summer), The Witness (summer), Rapture, Uncharted Collection & GoW PS4, Persona 5 & that's off the top of my head. Certainly looks like PS4 has plenty of great games still in 2015.
Thought it was free?
