TeamXbox: E3 08: Dark Void Hands-On

When you have a lineup that includes a new Resident Evil and a new Street Fighter, some of your other lesser-known or first-time-out entries can get a bit lost. Getting some hands-on time with Dark Void, however, brings it a bit more to the forefront.

The game is still relatively early in its development, with plans for a second-quarter 2009 release, but the gameplay concepts come through clearly. It's a shooter built on the Unreal Engine, so there are a lot of familiar aspects to it, but Capcom and developer Airtight Games have heavily modified the engine, which helps them make it much more than just another third-person shooter.
