I don't think anyone really expected a major overhaul from this. They did it in regards to all the issues that plagued MCC at launch, and it looks like all they did was add lighting and picked up the framerate. Not big changes, but good for those who wanted to play this game again on the Xbox one.

They were doing it anyway! Its free because of he issues

I just picked up MCC off Amazon for $21 (used). I traded my copy in 2 days after it originally released because of all the issues (after they announced that the patch was delayed, I KNEW that the issues weren't going to be fixed since this was the first time I've heard of a delayed patch).

Anyways, I just redeemed my ODST code that I received from Microsoft on Xbox One. I'm not going to complain, because it's free, but it definitely doesn't look like an "upgrade" worth paying more than $5-10 (ODST used is like $5 on 360). How much is the ODST "add-on" for Xbox One (for those people who aren't eligible for the "loyalty program")?

Its 5 or 10 dollars. I cant see it since its already installed

Still a better FPS than anything offered on a Sony console. Game looks great, I would have preferred, or still hope, for a remastered Halo Wars. Literally went like 200-3 in that game cause console guys don't understand RTS, even simplified ones haha.

I'd like Halo Reach too for the campaign, but Halo Reach was certainly the point where it was like ummmm... Bungie... pass the torch... you don't know what you are doing anymore... and luckily they did. Put Halo in much better hands, and went ahead and created a stinker with Destiny lol.

@XBLSkull, Now we understand why you have one bubble!

GMR_PR1212d ago

I dont know... I like better the X360 darker tone.

Halo2ODST21212d ago (Edited 1212d ago )

@Xb1 Skull - are you trying to say that halo 4's COD multiplayer is better than Reach's great multiplayer? If so, I understand why the majority are disagreeing with you.

Controls is like heaven and earth one vs 360.
I still have some very good games on 360 and graphics is ok for me, but after xbox one's gamepad don't want to pick up 360's pad.

If only MS released the same quality new gamepad for 360...

dancerOfDeath1212d ago

I agree, when I grab 360 pad now it feels cheap, small and light. Basically like a toy compared to the X1 pad.

Trekster_Gamer1212d ago

I am glad they did it but HALO REACH would have been a MUCH better choice!

Maybe down the road they will remaster Halo Reach with the Halo 5 engine....

jetlian1212d ago

Reach is coming. Both arent in mcc because you dont play as master chief

LAWSON721212d ago (Edited 1212d ago )

The problem with them doing Reach is they will do a piss poor job. One of the best parts of Reach was the sharability of Forge World (MCC forge is a joke) and customization with leveling (non existent in MCC). I would much prefer a seperate port or rerelease as a Xbox Original

BiggerBoss1212d ago

Yeah from what I played of MCC, they really jacked the forge up..

Halo2ODST21212d ago (Edited 1212d ago )

Yeah, but Reach should get it's own section, with it's extensive customisation, Forge World & sharability - which the mcc doesn't have, it should also have it's own multiplayer section because it has so many gametypes that the mcc doesn't have playlists to play them, damn the most gametypes than any other halo. Also keep Reach's engine, we don't need to have super shiny spartans, who all show more of their body suit than armour, & we don't need to wait 5mins when going into forge mode for the sake of stupid lighting effects, no halo 5 engine or art style plz.

Perjoss1212d ago

Really hope they have a look at Reach now, it was an awesome Halo game but could certainly use a bump in the frame rate department and maybe turn down that motion blur a bit. Its also the only one left to remaster when it comes to Halo first person shooters.

For the most part it just looks brighter. These games were all dark originally. I am sure it looks sharper and controls smoother on Xbox One, but not bad on 360.
