Gamer 2.0 writes: "The Fallout series is one of the most heralded and well-respected in the industry, and excitement for its third installment is still high despite it being 10 years since a new proper chapter has been released. Fans have kept a watchful eye on Fallout 3 with understandable apprehension as Bethesda Softworks has departed from the series' traditional PC RPG roots. Yet, Bethesda has done a good job of modernizing the Fallout series while implementing so much of the original game's trademark features that it should surprisingly feel like a new experience for the uninitiated and very much like the old days for series' veterans.
It is 2227 in a post-apocalyptic Washington D.C. Your father has, without warning or reason, left Vault 151, one of many underground vaults originally intended for social experiments but has been used by survivors of The Great War. The community believes you have something to do with his disappearance and are now after you as you search for your father's whereabouts."
